Vote for change that makes sense

To the editor:

Election time is here again and now is the time to separate the lies from the truths and bring back some common sense to our City Council and elect citizens that are truly dedicated to the equality of the people that they represent and not just the privileged few in this city that like to keep things the way they are and to their advantage. One only has to ask himself, am I better off today than I was last year (relative to the higher taxes and hardship on the private sector who pays all the bills)? Anyone who would say “yes I am,” in my estimation would have a bad case of dementia and being that dumb wouldn’t even realize it.

At this election you will have a choice of some great candidates who fully understand the political process on how a community should be run and its goals. As a matter of fact the citizens of this community will have a chance to make history in our city. They will have a chance to vote for two write-in candidates that are trustworthy, have the citizens’ best interest in mind with due diligence, will do what is best for this city. You can take that to the bank. This has been verified and they will accept these positions only if they are elected in this manner.

So let’s put some thought about what we would like to see changed to make Caribou a better place to live and raise families without the threat of unaffordable taxation without representation and get out and vote for change that makes sense.
