Grand Jury
The Aroostook County grand jury completed its third session of 2011 on July 8 and handed down 52 indictments against 49 individuals without any “no bills.”
Of particular note, 21 cases directly involve drugs and/or alcohol as the basis of the criminal charge. While not directly involving illicit drugs, substances, and/or or alcohol abuses, many of the remaining cases involve substance abuse or other drug-seeking behavior said District Attorney Todd Collins.
Among those indicted were:

• Barry A. Goodall, 26, Linneus: operating after revocation.
• Robert T. Cottle, 30, Houlton: burglary (two counts); theft (two counts); receiving stolen property; and violating condition of release.
• Suzette E. Lord, 33, Houlton: theft.
• Michael Deveau, 25, Mars Hill: gross sexual assault; and burglary.
• Joshua Shrewsbury, 20, Connor Twp.: gross sexual assault.
• Andrew G. Morrison, 21, Mapleton: unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs; and violating condition of release.
• Aaron C. Dyer, 26, Presque Isle: unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs (two counts).
• Jon A. Clayton Jr., 47, Blaine: unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs.
• Jason A. Gill, 26, Detroit, Mich.: aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs.
• Kiesha Thomas, 19, Detroit, Mich.: aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs.
• Gilman F. Roy, Jr., 29, Van Buren: unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs.
• Melody A. Trotter, 23, Easton: aggravated marijuana cultivation.
• Jeremy R. Trotter, 24, Easton: aggravated marijuana cultivation; and violating condition of release.
• Jason J. Durand, 28, Ashland: criminal operating under the influence; operating after revocation; and violating condition of release.
• Kenneth Lebel, 20, Frenchville: burglary (four counts); theft (four counts); and criminal mischief.
• Kelly E. Hannon, 43, Van Buren: criminal threatening; and domestic violence assault.
• Michael G. Hornick, 50, Caribou: aggravated assault.
• Christopher W. Fuller, 28, Presque Isle: theft.
• William D. Berry, 39, Fort Fairfield: operating after revocation; and criminal OUI.
• Glen R. Kleinert, 33, Limestone: burglary; and theft.
• Jamie P. Burns, 39, Presque Isle: domestic violence assault; and violating condition of release.
• Daniel J. Bernier, 60, Limestone: operating after revocation.
• Robert E. Bowring, Jr., 28, Ashland: aggravated assault; and reckless conduct.
• Mathew J. Benn, 28, Bridgewater: operating after revocation.

• Mark Fisher, 43, Limestone: gross sexual assault (two counts); and unlawful sexual contact (two counts).
• Alexander E. Lausier, 19, Presque Isle: stealing drugs; and theft.
• Janie R. Lausier, 57, Eagle Lake: theft; and stealing drugs.
• Nicholas A. Flewelling, 21, Easton: theft.
