PI Police investigate burglary at local archery shop
PRESQUE ISLE — The Presque Isle Police Department continues to investigate an early Sunday morning burglary at a local archery shop.
Police say that someone forced their way into Uncle Buck’s Archery Shop on Elizabeth Street and stole a dozen Mathews and Bowtech compound bows as well as two hard plastic bow cases.
A police tracking dog was called in to assist investigators and police say they have gathered evidence that could help solve the crime.
The investigation is being led by Sgt. Mark Barnes and Officer Larry Fickett.
They also are asking anyone with information about the crime to call the Police Department at 764-4476.
