PI Rotary made a donation
to the Crown of Maine Balloon Fest
THE PRESQUE ISLE ROTARY CLUB recently made a $500 donation to the Crown of Maine Balloon Fest, the annual hot air balloon event that brings pilots and spectators from throughout Maine and beyond to the county.

This year’s event takes place Aug. 23-26. The funding will be used to support one of the festival’s most popular events – Youth Day, which features a number of games and activities for children put on by the local Kiwanis Club. This activity will be held at The Forum from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25.
