PI indoor pool classes to begin
PRESQUE ISLE — The Presque Isle Indoor is currently accepting pre-paid registrations for its August 20 – October 27 session. The following classes are available:
Parent/Toddler, which requires an adult to be in the water: Tuesday, 9-9:25 a.m.; 6-6:25 p.m.; or Saturday, 9-9:25 p.m.
Three-year-old class: Monday, 3-3:25 p.m.; Tuesday, 9-9:25 a.m.; Wednesday, 1-1:25 p.m.; Thursday, 10:30-10:55 a.m.; Friday, 9-9:25 a.m.; or Saturday, 9:30-9:55 a.m.
Four- to five-year-olds: Monday, 3:30-3:55 p.m.; Tuesday, 10:30-10:55 a.m.; 6:30-6:55 p.m.; Wednesday, 1:30-1:55 p.m.; Thursday, 9-9:25 a.m.; 3-3:25 p.m.; 3:30-3:55 p.m. and 6-6:25 p.m.; Friday, 9:30-9:55 a.m.; or Saturday, 9:30-9:55 a.m. and 10-10:25 a.m.
Swimming 3-5 year-olds (must be able to swim half the width of the pool): Wednesday, 3:30-3:55 p.m.; Thursday, 6:30-6:55 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30-10:55 a.m.
Advanced 3-5 year-olds (must be able to swim the width of the pool): Wednesday, 9-9:50 a.m. and 1-1:50 p.m.
Learn to Swim 1 (for children ages 6-13 years old at the beginner level): Monday, 4-4:50 p.m.; Tuesday, 3-3:50 p.m.; Thursday, 4-4:50 p.m.; 6-6:50 p.m.; or Saturday 10-10:50 a.m. and 11-11:50 a.m.
Learn to Swim 2: Monday, 3-3:50 p.m.; Tuesday, 3-3:50 p.m.; Wednesday, 1-1:50 p.m.; 4-4:50 p.m.; 6-6:50 p.m.; Thursday, 3-3:50 p.m.; 4-4:50 p.m. or Saturday, 11-11:50 a.m.
Learn to Swim 3-4: Tuesday, 4-4:50 p.m. and 6-6:50 p.m.; Wednesday, 2-2:50 p.m.; 3-3:50 p.m.; Thursday, 3-3:50 p.m.; or Saturday, 10-10:50 a.m.
Learn to Swim 5-6: Monday 6-6:50 p.m.; Wednesday, 2-2:50 p.m.; Thursday, 4-4:50 p.m.; or Saturday, 11-11:50 a.m.
Adult beginner/stroke improvement classes are held Wednesdays from 9-9:50 a.m. or Thursdays from 7-7:50 p.m.
Shallow water exercise classes are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10-10:50 a.m. and deep water exercise classes are Monday and Wednesday from 4-4:50 p.m.
Deep water boot camp classes (cardio, strengthening and toning) are Tuesday and Thursday from 6-6:50 p.m.
The Presque Isle Indoor Pool will be closed September 3 in observance of Labor Day and on Oct. 8 in observance of Columbus Day.
