Landean, Aildine M., 73, of Caribou, on August 13, 2012. Private family services will be held at the New Sweden Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.


Caribou – Aildine M. Landean, 73, wife of the late Elmer G. Landean, died August 13, 2012 at Boston following a brief illness. She was born February 17, 1939, the daughter of the late Philip and Blanche Deschaine. She was a member of the Gustaf Adolph Lutheran Church where she was also a member of the Lutheran Church Women’s group. Mrs. Landean was an avid and accomplished knitter and also loved crochet and many were the recipients of her handy work. She married Elmer G. Landean in 1957.

She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Maria Landean of North Pole, Alaska and Bryant and Diane Landean of Orono; her daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Vinal McDougall of Plaster Rock, N.B.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at the New Sweden Cemetery. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Mrs. Landean may do so through the American Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Arrangements by the Mockler Funeral Home Caribou, www.mocklerfuneralhome.com.
