DUNN, Roger K., 78, PRESQUE ISLE, September 23, 2012. There will be a celebration of his life held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Presque Isle from 1 to 5 p.m., on Saturday, September 29. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

PRESQUE ISLE American Flag ColorRoger K. Dunn, 78, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012, at TAMC in Presque Isle after a long illness complicated by pneumonia. He was born on June 11, 1934, in Wade, the son of Albert and Clara (Richardson) Dunn
    Better known as “the Gas Delivery Man”, he delivered propane to local families for 35 years. He started out in the National Guard at age 17, enlisted in the Navy at age 19 as a Seabee during the Korean War. He met and married Geraldine Berube of Ashland in 1957 who passed away on September 22, 2008. They were together for 34 years.
    Roger is survived by five children: Michelle Simard of Aurora, CO, Kimberly Brogna and spouse, Rick of Bellevue, Neb., David Dunn and his spouse, Linda Page of Presque Isle, Stephanie Dunn and her spouse, Ron Sheil of Scarborough, ME, and Roger Dunn of Presque Isle; five grandchildren: Joshua, Zachary, Eva, Drew and Henry. He also leaves behind a brother, Richard Dunn of Belmont, Mass.; and a long time companion, Ruby Giggey of Fort Fairfield; as well as many in-laws and friends who have remained close throughout the years. A special shout out to his favorite hairdresser, Linda Berube of Pl.
    He was a beloved father and grandfather who loved fishing, lobster and all sports, especially the Red Sox.
    In keeping with his wishes, there will be a celebration of life held at the Knights of Columbus Hall (KC Hall) in Presque Isle from 1 to 5 p.m., on Saturday, September 29, 2012.
