Peggy Benn

    Benn, Peggy, 53, October 9, 2012.  Services will be held at St. Mary’s Church on October 20 at 11 a.m.
    Peggy Benn, 53, of Hammond Plantation, passed away October 9, 2012 after a long battle with diabetes.
    She is survived by her mother, Lois Sylvia; two sons, Marshall Benn of Hampden, and Mathew Benn of Hammond Plt.; two sisters, Nicole and Molly; three stepsisters, Jeannie, Vera, and Cheryl; four stepbrothers, Donald, Charlie, John, and Gary, along with their families as well as a special nephew, Isaac and niece, Katherine.
    She also leaves behind her beloved “grand babies” Taylor, Madison, and Michael, and had been anxiously awaiting the birth of her grandson, Wyatt, scheduled to arrive in December.
    Peggy was predeceased by her father, Ira Benn; stepfather, Joe Sylvia and husband, John Byron.
    The family would like to extend a special thanks to Peggy’s brother-in-law, Gordon Ledger, daughter-in-law Erika Veinote, and stepbrother, John Sylvia for their special love and assistance to Peggy throughout her illness.
    Services for Peggy will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Houlton on October 20, 2012 at 11 a.m.
