FITZSIMMONS, Phyllis Helen “Mimi” (Reed), 80, MAINE & WISCONSIN, at Green Bay, Wis., Oct. 7, 2012. Arrangements in care of The Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Wisconsin.

    MAINE & WISCONSIN – Phyllis Helen “Mimi” (Reed) Fitzsimmons, 80, left this life to be with her Lord on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at a Green Bay hospital, WI, after a several-year journey with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born in Ashland, Maine, on April 2, 1932, to the late Charles and Eva (Belyea) Reed.
    Phyllis was a long-time, faithful member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Presque Isle, but moved to live with her daughter and family in 2006, where she attended Lighthouse Apostolic Truth Church of De Pere, Wisconsin. Phyllis was retired from McCain Foods. Mimi was beloved by family and friends and was well-known for her cooking, sewing and crafts. She often prepared and delivered Sunday meals to home-bound parishioners.
    Mimi is survived by daughter, Amanda (Fitzsimmons) Roberts and her husband, Mark; grandson, Evan Roberts; granddaughter, Erin Roberts; all of Green Bay, WI; granddaughter, Rachel Carmichael of Washburn, ME; two sisters; a brother; many nieces and nephews.
    She was predeceased by a son, Harold Fitzsimmons Jr.; and by her former husband, Harold Fitzsimmons Sr.; as well as two brothers and two sisters.
    A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 14, 2012, at 2 p.m., in the Hickory Room of the De Pere Community Center, 600 Grant St., De Pere, WI, with Rev. Peter L. Fraser officiating.
