    STACYVILLE – Stacy Bates, 47, died Nov. 21, 2012, at his home. He was born April 12, 1965, in Island Falls, the son of Frederick and Gladys (Gallagher) Bates.
    He is survived by his fiancée, Heidi Perkins of Stacyville; a daughter, Jamie Finson of Hampton, N.H.; a son, Robert Bates Sr. of Kittery; three grandchildren, Evan, Ali and Robert Jr.; two brothers and two sisters, Brent Bates of Hersey, Angela Roy of Patten, Fred Bates Jr. of Patten and Monica Shaw of Hersey; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Monday at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls, with the Rev. Dan Proulx officiating. Interment was at Mount Chase Cemetery.
