FORT FAIRFIELD – Scott Rossignol, 38, passed away November 21, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. He was born July 24, 1974, in Presque Isle, the son of Leo and Sally (Corriveau) Rossignol.
Scott was a family man who above all, loved his children, Aiden and Destiny, immensely. Scott attended Washburn High School where many of his classmates remained part of his life. He worked as a medical assistant in the Fort Fairfield health facility. Scott loved working with his fellow coworkers. He especially had a fondness for the ER staff who he worked with for a period of time.
When not working, Scott loved to spend time with his family. You could find him with the kids at the park, swimming, dance or other events involving children. He was a great father who would try his best to make it to school events or appointments. Scott loved to help people and in doing so, gave the ultimate gift of life to five organ recipients, one being a long time friend, coworker and neighbor.
He is survived by his wife, Tracy (York) Rossignol of Fort Fairfield; his two children, Aiden and Destiny Rossignol of Fort Fairfield; parents, Leo and Sally Rossignol of Crouseville; a brother- and sister-in-law, Troy and Anna Rossignol of Easton; sister Naomi Rossignol of Caribou; grandfather, Leo Corriveau of Florida; father- and mother-in-law, Walter and Theresa York of Fort Fairfield; several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces, including special nieces, Leah and Aunika.
Scott was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Theodore and Bertha Rossignol; his maternal grandmother, Gladys Corriveau; and a nephew, Landen Owens.
