WILLEY, Helen C., 95, PRESQUE ISLE, December 8, 2012. There will be a graveside service in June 2013 at Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    PRESQUE ISLE – Helen C. Willey, 95, passed away on Saturday Dec. 8, 2012, at a Presque Isle health care facility. She was born on August 4, 1917, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Charles and Elsie (Trask) Willey.
    Helen worked at Beckwith’s Diner and then as a cook at Gouldville School. She enjoyed making and collecting dolls, and spent many hours making clothes for them. Over the last year, she enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends at the Presque Isle Rehab and Nursing Center. She loved “her girls” at PIRNC and was thankful for the special care they gave her. Helen was an inspiration to many people and her spirit was contagious.
    She is survived by a sister, Glenda Winslow of Presque Isle; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Sue Powers and her husband, Joe of Mapleton, a special nephew, John Winslow and his wife, Dorothy of Bel Alton, MD; great-nieces and nephew, Michaela and Katelyn Powers of Presque Isle, Jessica Winslow of Kilgore, TX, and Jesse Powers of Fort Collins, Colorado; special friends, Alice Lyons and Marjorie Brown of Presque Isle.
    Helen was predeceased by brother, Gilbert Willey; an infant brother, Roy; three sisters, Goldie Campbell, Alice Willey, and Vesta Browning; and a brother-in-law, Vaughn Winslow in 2012.
    There will be a graveside service in June 2013 at Fairmount Cemetery with Dr. Rev. Ken Phelps officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
