CROUSEVILLE — Officials with the Crouseville Community Playground Project are working to raise funds to upgrade the local landmark that’s served several generations.

“We are looking for help and support in restoring the basketball court and replacing outdated playground equipment at the Milford Libby Memorial Playground in the center of the community. The original basketball court was built in honor of Lori Corey of Washburn,” said Frederic Flewelling, a member of the campaign committee.

The total cost of the project is estimated at $55,000 and is budgeted as follows: Site work for the playground area, $19,152; and playground equipment, $35,848.

The Crouseville Community Playground is charitable in nature and contributions/donations are tax-deductible.

Anyone wishing to make a donation can do by sending checks to: Crouseville Community Playground, PO Box 456, Crouseville, ME 04738.
