Paradis Shop’n Save has made a donation to the Jefferson Cary Foundation’s Capital Campaign project for the hospital’s new Women’s Imaging Center. To date, just over $780,000 has been raised as part of the total $800,000 fundraising campaign for the renovation and construction project in Cary’s radiology department. The new Women’s Imaging Center opened last December, and an open house was held in February to introduce the center to Cary staff and the public. The facility features state-of-the-art digital mammography and stereotactic breast biopsy systems as well as a spa-like atmosphere. Presenting the donation to, from left, Mary Harrigan, executive director of the Jefferson Cary Foundation, and Jim Martin, JCF board member, are Craig Paradis, owner of Paradis Shop’n Save, and Dana Corbin, manager of the Caribou store. Also present were Dr. Shawn Laferriere, medical director of radiology at Cary, and JCF board member David Wakem.
