CARIBOU — The 2013 Little Miss Pageant featuring 13 contestants from Caribou, Connor, New Sweden and Woodland will be held Saturday, March 23, at 7 p.m. at the Caribou Performing Arts Center.
The Little Miss Caribou contestants are Alexis Haley Gustin, 8, daughter of Eric and Kim Gustin; Bianka Lilianna Alejo, 8, daughter of Santos Alejo Gonzalez and Erica Alejo; Naomi Renee Cote, 8, daughter of Ryan and Nicole Cote; Claire Elizabeth Ouellette, 7, daughter of Josh and Karen Ouellette; Emma Joyce Kilcollins, 7, daughter of Chris and Mandy Kilcollins; and Araya Tallisa Rain Caverhill, 7, daughter of Troy and Stephanie Caverhill. Gustin will perform a monologue; Alejo and Cote will do a vocal performance; Ouellette will perform a gymnastics routine; Kilcollins will perform a dance routine; and Caverhill will perform a contemporary acrobatic routine.
The Little Miss Connor contestant is Jessica Grace Soucy, 8, daughter of Jim and Tammy Soucy. She will do a vocal performance.
Little Miss New Sweden contestants are Maya Marie Peterson,8, and Amalla Jende Peterson, 9, both daughters of Mike Stuart and Andrea Peterson. Maya will do a vocal performance and Amalla will perform a dance routine.
Little Miss Woodland contestants are Amanda Poulin, 9, daughter of David and Karen Poulin; Anna Glenna-Rose Belanger, 9, daughter of Roland and Ricketta Belanger; Cassidy Marie Page, 8, daughter of Jason Page and Kimberly Bouley; and Carly Rebecca Strid, 8, daughter of Anthony and Shelly Strid. Poulin will do a vocal performance; Belanger will recite a poetry piece; Page and Strid will both do dance routines.
Entertainment will be provided by the reigning 2012 Little Miss queens, who will also be joining the contestants to perform the opening number.
The 2013 Little Miss Pageant is being directed by Cheryl Bossie and sponsored by the Lister Knowlton VFW Auxiliary. Tickets are $6 each and may be purchased in advance from the contestants or at the door the day of the pageant. Proceeds from the pageant benefit the VFW Auxiliary Cancer Aid and Research Programs.
