The Performing Arts Club of Katahdin High School is happy to say they are performing another play this year called “Misunderstood.”
The play will be focused on the underlying secrets of the villains we have all grown up watching. This play puts a twist on the stories that we all have come to be familiar with. This year the club has grown in numbers. Many new kids have signed up and have been doing a great job filling their roles. The older members of the program have really stepped up and helped out putting the play together, due to the lack of adult help. They have done the scheduling, choreographing of dances, script writing, and organizing/supervising practices.
Winnie Allen, English teacher at Katahdin High School, heads the program and does a great job. She loves working with the kids and developing their talents. It is shaping up to be a really great show.
The performances will be held in Katahdin High School on Wednesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 11 at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for $5 a person. For more information call 365-4218.
