John H. Reed, 91, of Washington DC and Fort Fairfield. A service of committal with Masonic Burial Rites and full military honors for John H. Reed, former Maine governor and and ambassador to Sri Lanka, will be conducted Monday, May 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield with Pastor Ellen Cleaves officiating. A time of continued fellowship will be held after the service at the home of John’s niece, Rayle Reed Ainsworth, 134 Main Street, Fort Fairfield. All are cordially invited to attend.
