PRESQUE ISLE – Garrett J. Brewer passed away April 3, 2013. He will be missed by those who loved him. Garrett was born on March 11, 1978, in Caribou, the son of Debra and Tim Sites and Tom & Mary Brewer. Garrett graduated from Presque Isle High School 1998.
He was predeceased by grandparents Levi White, Day Brewer and Barbara Lizotte. He is survived by one daughter, Makenzie Brewer; two brothers, Branden Brewer and JR Chamberland; one sister, Trishia Webb; two grandfathers, Bud Brewer and Richard Lizotte; one grandmother, Pat Bernier; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and his special “fur-kids” Julie and Spots.
Garrett was known as an avid outdoors man, loved fishing, hunting and long walks into the wilderness or picking fiddleheads with his best friend “Julie” by his side. Starting from childhood, going to camp at Long Lake in Sinclair created many fond memories that he treasured.
At Garrett’s request there will be no calling hours. A mass of Christian burial was held at The Parish of the Precious Blood, Sacred Heart Church, Route 1, Caribou, Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Emile Dube, Celebrant. Interment will be held later this spring at Sacred Heart Church Cemetery.
