CARIBOU – Jeffrey J. Fisher Sr., 73, died April 24, 2013 at his Caribou residence. He was born in Madawaska on February 7, 1940, the son of the late Maurice and Elsie (Saucier) Fisher.
He was employed by Lane Construction for a number of years and was also employed by Potato Service. Mr. Fisher was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was a fourth degree member of the Fred V. Brescia Council 1870 Knights of Columbus. He married Ozline Michaud April 24, 1965.
Surviving in addition to his wife of Caribou are two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Laurie Fisher Jr. of Castle Hill and Dwayne and Angela Fisher of Fayetteville, Tenn; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Gene Ellis, and Kristina and Paul McEwen, all of Caribou; one sister, Gloria Pellerin of Caswell; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Fisher was predeceased by his parents and a brother.
Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou 6-8 p.m. Sunday. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday April 29, 2013 from the Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
