Langley, Frances R., 89, passed away February 7, 2013 at her daughter’s residence. Calling hours will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 7 at Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover Street, Caribou. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 8 at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood, Caribou. Interment will be in the New Holy Rosary Cemetery, Caribou. Arrangements by Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, Caribou.
DALEVILLE, AL and CARIBOU, ME – Frances R. Langley, 89, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at her daughter’s residence, with her family by her side. Frances was born in Portage on April 19, 1923, the daughter of Baptiste and Julia (Raymond) Corriveau.
Frances worked at the former Caribou Steam Laundry for 35 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood in Caribou for all her life until her move to Alabama.
Frances is survived by her children, Linda Hartley of Easton, ME and Avon Park, FL., Darlene LaFleur of Wicksburg, AL, Regina Weaver of Daleville, Al, Wade Monti of Caribou, and Michael Loughnan of Enterprise, AL. She is also survived her sister, Florence Newbegin of Berlin, PA.
In addition to her parents, Frances was predeceased by her husband Floyd Langley, a son Delray Andrews, a brother Joseph Corriveau and a sister, Shirley Blandford. She is survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, and 5 step-great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held in the spring at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood in Caribou. Arrangements are in care of Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover Street, Caribou. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.lancastermorgan.com
