UMPI volleyball camp set
PRESQUE ISLE — The University of Maine at Presque Isle volleyball program will hold a summer skills camp the week of July 22-26. The camp is open for girls entering sixth through 12th grades and takes place in Wieden Hall on the UMPI campus.
Owl head volleyball coach Mark Kornachuk will direct the camp. Kornachuk is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and has 25 years of volleyball experience. While in Arizona, California, Tennessee and Maine, Kornachuk has coached different ages and teams. The UMPI volleyball team would like to bring our volleyball training to the community for those wanting to play hard, enjoy the game and excel in a sport that is growing in Maine.
The clinic will be held daily from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and the cost is $50, which includes a camp T-shirt. Team discounts are available. For more information, contact Kornachuk at Mark.kornachuk@gmail.com or 999-9836.
