Numerous law enforcement officers gathered at a Presque Isle home on Wednesday morning as part of an FBI investigation.

FBI spokesperson Kristen Setera confirmed that the agency was conducting court-authorized activity at the home at 12 Summer St., but said she could not release more information.

Kim Smith, Presque Isle’s public information officer, said that local police were assisting the FBI with an investigation.

At least four unmarked law enforcement cruisers were parked outside the Presque Isle property as of 9:20 a.m., and officers could be seen entering and exiting the home. They did not have weapons drawn or appear to be confronting an active threat.

The home is one of two that are owned by John Greaves and Bonnie Greaves, but it is not their primary residence, according to Presque Isle’s public property tax records

A person who answered a telephone number for the owners would not give their name or confirm that they owned 12 Summer St.
