Senior citizens enjoy trip to Houlton

    The Easton Happy Days Club traveled by bus to the Elm Tree Diner in Houlton on Thursday, May 9. Twenty-three seniors were along for the trip.

Enjoying the outing were: Bud and Sally Budreau, Margaret Adams, Joan Turner, Paul and Lianna Demerchant, Jean Ann Ames, Loomis and Kitty Scott, Ezalee Smith, Hughie Gray, Carol Adams Marjorie Leach, Elizabeth Martin, Geraldine Flewelling, Betty Brown, Ida Doak, Ed and Alta Rattray, John and Nina Trask and Hillary Hallett. Dale and Ruth White joined the group at the diner for dinner. The bus driver was Dellas Adams.
While in Houlton, participants stopped and did a little shopping on the way back.
Our next meeting will be a potluck dinner on May 23. Easton seniors are welcome to join and are encouraged to bring a friend. The last meeting before summer break will be a tour on the Presque Isle Historical Society’s Molly the Trolley on June 13. Plans are to resume meetings in August.
