Take Off Pounds Sensibly Chapter 0233 of Houlton met at the Aldergate building on High Street for its Friday, Aug. 2 meeting.
Thirteen TOPS and 3 KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly) were weighed. Loser of the week was Denise Clark with Aileen Smith as runner-up. The skinny dish was won by Diane Folsom and the 50/50 drawing was taken home by Charlotte Marley.
Diane Folsom, leader, was in charge. Reports were given by Joanne Scott and Charlotte Marley, in the absence of Cheryl Driscoll. Diane read letters from Rick Danforth and a letter from an overweight lady.
Our representative, Janice Cote, will visit us next Friday, Aug. 9.
For the program each person was given two questions; they in turn had to read the question and answer. Diane gave gifts to all members.
