Take Off Pounds Sensibly Chapter 0233 of Houlton met at the Aldergate building on High Street for its Friday, March 7, meeting. Fifteen ladies were present. Of this number four were KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly).
Leader Diane Folsom was in charge of the meeting. Cheryl Driscoll gave the secretary’s minutes. Mildred Gagnon gave the weight recorder’s numbers. Janette Nelson gave a monthly financial report. The loser of the week was Janette with Betty Ivey and Betty Wyman as runners-up.
Roll call was given and Diane read some correspondence from Rick Danforth. We discussed upcoming workshops and one that our chapter will host in June. Diane introduced Lois Downing to begin her program on the subject of olive oil, called liquid gold. Barbara Troy led us in several minutes of exercises.
Some time was spent on the new Easter contest. The next meeting will be March 14 at the same location.
