HOULTON – Catherine E. Miskelly, 88, died July 8, 2014, in Houlton. She was born January 14, 1926, in Baltimore County, Maryland, the daughter of Harry and Emma (Rothamel) Spealmann.
Cass enjoyed doing artwork, bowling and especially loved shooting pool. She grew up in Maryland and was active in the Pascal Senior Center before moving to Florida where she enjoyed living in a senior community and playing pool with her friends. In 2010, she embarked on a new adventure and moved to Houlton, Maine with her daughter. Here, Cass continued to live at home until her death and enjoyed the fellowship of friends at First Baptist and Town and Country Seniors and good care in her final days from Hospice and the Visiting Nurses of Aroostook.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Miskelly of Houlton; several nieces, nephews; and many wonderful friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; four siblings, August, Harry, Mae and Mildred.
