The Smith Wellness Center was officially opened in July of 2014. It features cutting-edge equipment complete with LCD screens for TV, Internet and personalized digital training; strength-training machines, cross trainers, treadmills, recumbent bikes, upright bikes, free weights, a yoga and exercise room, and men’s and women’s locker rooms. It’s designed for both the amateur and avid wellness buff with bright, natural lighting, an open floor plan and affordable pricing.
“I’m really looking forward to this new challenge and fully utilizing this exciting new facility which offers another way to welcome the surrounding community,” said Richard. “I’m particularly eager to help members reach their personal fitness goals. I’m hopeful that my enthusiasm for supporting people in their wellness journey will be inspiring for everyone who commits to better health.”
Richard will be establishing a professional staff with an emphasis on customer service that will provide instruction on safe and effective use of the equipment.
