The Community Voices coalition will host the second annual 420 High on Life 5K event at Fort Kent Community High School May 2, where anyone of any age or ability level can walk, run, or roll in support of health and healthy living choices.
Organizers invite walkers, runners and rollers, from bicyclists to strollers and roller blades, to participate in the family-friendly event. Kids’ activities will occur in the gymnasium starting at 8:30 a.m.
Registration for the 5K event begins at 8 a.m. behind the gymnasium, rain or shine. Non-racers, from walkers to bicyclists and non-competitive runners, will begin the loop course at 8:45 a.m.; runners interested in competing will start at 9 a.m. The registration fee for the 5K is $15 for individual entries, $25 for family entries of three or more individuals, and $10 for group/team entries.
