HATT, George William, Sr., 77, Mars Hill, May 23, 2016. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat., June 4, at 1 p.m. at the Mars Hill/Blaine Community Center.
MARS HILL – George William Hatt Sr., 77, son of Alexander and Henrietta Hatt, passed peacefully in his sleep on May 23, 2016, after a long illness and a broken heart, following the death of his wife, Carol, on June 11, 2015.
He is survived by his seven children, Mary, Rick, Lu, Cindy, Alex (Karen), George Jr. (Tammy), and Bill (Miki); loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat., June 4, at 1 p.m. at the Mars Hill/Blaine Community Center on Community Center Street in Mars Hill. Following the Celeb-ration of Life, a truck parade will take place to George’s final resting place at Tapley Cemetery in Blaine, where a graveside service will be held.
