Easton holds annual alumni banquet

Association honors classes and presents scholarships

 EASTON NEWS

The Easton Alumni Association held its annual alumni banquet June 9, 2016, with the classes of 1966 and 1991 honored for celebrating their 50th and 25th anniversaries, respectively.

A time for reminiscing took place and a delicious meal was enjoyed by all. The group also welcomed all 10 members of the Class of 2016 into the Alumni Association.
The association awarded three scholarships: the Steven Perry Scholarship in the amount of $500 was awarded to Logan Halvorson, the Madeline Gardiner Scholarship in the amount of $250 was awarded to Bailee Getchell and the annual Alumni Scholarship in the amount of $500 was awarded to Trevor Hathaway.
At the annual business meeting, the group elected Kerrigan Arnett (Class of 2015) as the new secretary/media relations person. Also elected as the new contact person/acting president was Peggy Budreau Arnett (Class of 1984).
Any questions, updates or information can be directed to either the Easton Senior/Junior High School at 488-7702 or emailed to arnett_peggy@yahoo.com. The group would love some new volunteer members.
Check out the association’s new website, which can be accessed by going to Easton Junior-Senior High School web page and clicking the alumni link. There is also a Facebook page, “Easton Alumni/All-School Reunion.” The group is working hard to keep all members updated and would love to hear from you.
