WASHBURN, ME — The Washburn School Music Department, 21st Century After School Program and Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) held a music cafe on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at 6 p.m. in the Washburn District Elementary School gymnasium.
This event was open to students in pre-K through eighth grade

and their families. This fun evening included solo and group singers, a musical presentation by grades 1-4 students in the After School Program, and an International Fair exhibition by ASP participants.
School registration
SAD 45 of Perham, Wade and Washburn will hold registration for children entering pre-kindergarten in the fall on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at the David J. Lyon Washburn Elementary School.
Registrations will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., by appointment only.
To be eligible for pre-kindergarten a child must be 4 years old or older on or before October 15, 2017.
Parents must present a valid state birth certificate and immunization record for their child at the time of registration.
PTO Meeting
The next PTO meeting will be held on April 6th at the Rec Center at 6:30. For information about how you can help or participate, please contact Angela Farley at 455-8048.

Washburn Memorial Library
The Washburn Memorial Library hours are Monday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Girl Scouts meet each Friday afternoon (when school is in session) at 3 p.m. downstairs in the King Room.
