CARIBOU, Maine — The following cases were heard under the Aroostook Criminal Docket at the Caribou Courthouse during the month of February, 2017.

Larry A. Easler, 40, Washburn: probation violation, 120 days in jail, probation partially revoked and probation continued.

Andrew Torres, 22, Caribou: probation violation, 143 days in prison and probation revoked.

Brent J. Berube, 25, Limestone: assault, $300 fine, 90 days in jail; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, two years in prison, all but six months suspended and two years’ probation; and violating condition of release, six months in jail.

Christopher L. Brown, 28, Caribou: violating condition of release, 60 days in jail; and illegal importation of scheduled drugs, $400 fine, 30 months in prison, $120 restitution.

Taylor Byrd, 23, Mapleton: unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, $400 fine, eight years in prison, all but two years six months suspended, three years’ probation, $120 restitution; operate meth laboratory, $400 fine, two years, six months in prison; and criminal trespass, six months in jail.

Beth A. Hewitt, 46, Caribou: domestic violence assault, 300 days in jail.

Justin LaPlante, 30, Caribou: unlawful sexual contact, five years in prison, all but 18 months suspended and two years’ probation.

Bryan R. Ouellette, 26, Caribou: violating condition of release, $150 fine.

David A. Habeeb, 62, Stockholm: assault, not guilty.

Jonathan Clark, 31, Caribou: operating vehicle without license, $100 fine.

Bruce A. Brayall, 22, Caribou: disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, $400 fine and $802.52 restitution.

Mark C. Parks, 28, Caribou: motor vehicle speeding: 30-plus mph over speed limit, $500 fine.

Olivia Y. Martin, 26, Caribou: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $100 fine.

Scott A. Greenier, 57, Woodland: buying, selling or offering for sale a moose, $1,000 fine and 10 days in jail.

Harold Ouellette, 62, Caribou: domestic violence assault, six months in jail, all but 48 hours suspended and one year probation.

Keith W. Cocheran, 62, Caribou: attaching false plates, $200 fine.

Kyle Gagnon, 25, Washburn: obstructing government administration, $200 fine, three days in jail; and refusing to submit to arrest or detention, physical force, three days in jail.

John A. McBreairty, 24, Caribou: operating ATV on public way, $100 fine.

Nicholas S. Leavitt, 25, Presque Isle: use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.

Jeffrey Bernier, 53, Wells: operating unregistered snowmobile, $200 fine.

Tyler J. Tapley, 20, Mars Hill: violating snowmobile noise level limits (two counts), $100 fine (each).
