HOULTON, Maine — The Houlton Town Council will hold its next regular council meeting on Monday, May 8, 2017, at 6 p.m. The agenda follows.

III. New Business

  1. (050117-1) Council approves the application for Victualer’s License by Pam & Scott White, d/b/a Thirty-Two Below. (Public Hearing)
  1. (050117-2) Council approves the License for Sale of Goods, Wares and Merchandise for Pam & Scott White, d/b/a Thirty-Two Below, from June 1, 2017 through October 31, 2017.
  1. (050117-3) Council approves execution of the application to the Department of Public Safety by Joyce & Vicki Inc.,  d/b/a The Courtyard Café, located at 61 Main Street,  for renewal of their liquor license.

(Public Hearing)

  1. (050117-4) Council approves reissuance of a Taxicab License to Leigh Dow d/b/a Dow’s Taxi, as recommended by Police Chief Tim DeLuca.
  2. (050117-5) Council reappoints Town Manager Butch Asselin as the first municipal representative and Councilor Rosa McNally as the second municipal representative to the Northern Maine Development Commission.
  1. (050117-6) Council notifies the voters of the Town of Houlton of the Regional School Unit No. 29 Budget Validation Referendum on June 13, 2017, by countersigning their Warrant and Notice of Election.
  1. (050117-7) Council reaffirms the Safety Policy Mission Statement for the Town of Houlton.
  1. (050117-8) Council approves execution of the applications for BYOB Permits by Darrell Williams, for May 13th and May 27th, at the Maliseet Rollerama Building, located at 494 North Street.
  1. (050117-9) Council approves execution of the applications for BYOB Permits by Kelli Shannon, for July 8th and September 30th, at the Maliseet Rollerama Building, located at 494 North Street.

  1. Direction for the Town Manager to contact Sherriff Darrell Crandall to request a proposal from the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Department to provide law enforcement services to the Town of Houlton.
