Red Cross responding to two fires in County

BRIDGEWATER and VAN BUREN — Disaster Action Teams from the American Red Cross of Maine are working with individuals in Bridgewater and Van Buren to ensure that they have food, a safe place to sleep and other essentials following separate single-family home fires Sunday, May 21, 2017.

Over the next several days, the Red Cross will remain in contact with the three individuals, providing financial assistance and community referrals, as they begin to make their road to recovery. Two people were affected by the single-family home fire in Bridgewater and one person was affected by another single-family home fire in Van Buren.
