CARIBOU, Maine — A local auto dealer and its customers recently collaborated to raise funds for the Caribou High School Boosters Club.

Griffeth Ford Lincoln of Caribou recently presented $2,700 to the Boosters, the proceeds from their spring Drive4URSchool event held in May.

Sherry L. Bradley, customer relations manager for the dealership, presented Booster Club President Shelly Massey and treasurer Lehrle Kieffer with the funds.

The event was held at Caribou High School and organized by Griffeth staff. For every person who took a free test drive in a new Ford, the dealership and the Ford Motor Company donated $20 to the Boosters Club.

This is the ninth event the local company has organized for area booster clubs, Bradley said, generating to date $24,900 to support school athletics in surrounding communities.
