The Central Aroostook Panthers played their first home match of the season Wednesday and rolled past their opponent.

Six different players scored goals in the 6-0 blanking of Ashland. Hunter Wardwell, Zach O’Leary, Ben Thomas, Ethan Pryor, Taylor Campbell and Colby Kingsbury all found the back of the net for the Panthers, who improved to 3-0.

Brayden Bradbury recorded the shutout in goal for CA and Steven Bellanceau handled the goalkeeping chores for the 0-2 Hornets.

In St. Agatha Wednesday, the Beaver teams were swept by the host Wisdom Pioneers.

The girls game was an exact turnaround from the Aug. 18 game in Washburn. The Pioneers won the latest match, 4-1, after losing by the same score five days earlier.

Bailey Bellefleur recorded a hat trick and Sydney Dumond netted the other goal for the Pioneers, who improved to 2-1. Madison Miller scored off a Kassie Farley assist for 2-2 Washburn.

The Washburn Beavers were shut out in each of their first three games. They scored for the first time this season in the 4-2 loss to Wisdom. Daniel Arce had a goal and assisted on another by Konner Jordan as Washburn ended its scoring drought.

Jake Roy scored twice for 3-0 Wisdom.
