Generosity at drive-thru makes mom’s day

I have to share this experience. I have never had this happen and what a blessing I had today. My son wanted me to stop at Tim Horton’s in Caribou to get him a pumpkin iced capp. While going through the drive-thru, spur of the moment, I decided to get chili and broccoli/cheddar soup for supper tonight for us.

There was a reddish SUV in front of me and I paid little attention. When I got to the window, I had my money ready to give to the gal at the window. She smiled and said,  “The driver in front of you paid for your order.”

My first thought was, “You have got to be kidding,” and I think that is what I said to her. I asked her if she knew who the person was and she said, ‘No,’ and that the woman driving the SUV just wanted to do this.

I have never had this happen and what a blessing. With everything that is going on in this world, there still are wonderful, caring people. So whoever you are, I cannot thank you enough. You simply made my day and my kid’s day. Thank you God for this thoughtful person, may you bless them for their generosity.

This is not going to end here. I am going to “pay it forward.” I don’t know when or where, but it will happen.
