Small Business Association slates business workshop for vets

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — On Friday, Dec. 1, the Maine District Office of the Small Business Association, along with the New England Veterans Business Outreach Center and New Ventures Maine, will deliver a Reboot session to members of the veteran and military community at the Presque Isle Career Center.

Boots to Business: ReBoot is entrepreneurial training for veterans and spouses of veterans. The session will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Reboot is an introduction to entrepreneurship that provides an overview of business ownership, business plan outlines and information about available local resources.

“We at SBA are very proud of our Boots to Business and Reboot curriculum, and we are extremely grateful to our partners at the New England Veteran Business Outreach Centers and New Ventures Maine for helping us deliver this important training session to veterans and their family members,” said Amy Bassett, SBA district director.
