On Nov. 15, the Happy Losers held their weekly meeting.
The leader opened the meeting and welcomed members, followed by the pledge and roll call.
Six members weighed n and attended the meeting.
Cecilia Brown was the loser of the week, and Dotty Rand was runner-up. Great job, ladies.
The secretary and treasurer gave their reports for the week.
We welcomed Loretta back to class after her knee surgery. Some members have been ill with colds.
The Christmas party will be on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at the usual place.
All are welcome to the group, which always accepts new members. Weigh-in is from 8 to 8:30 a.m., with the meeting following. See you at the United Baptist Church vestry in Island Falls.
