Alice Curless St. Pierre

PENSACOLA, Fla., and CASWELL, Maine – Alice Curless St. Pierre, 101, of Pensacola, Fla., formerly of Caswell, died peacefully on January 8, 2018, in Pensacola, Fla. She was born on May 25, 1916, in Caswell, to James and Rose (Fisher) Curless.

Alice loved caring for her home, tending to the flower gardens, and fishing.
She married Joseph St. Pierre and they had five children. He predeceased her. She was predeceased by four of those children: a daughter at birth, and sons, Ulysses, Michael and Patrick; her brothers, Leonard, Ben and Noah Curless; her sisters, Virginia Bernier, Cecile Cyr and Marie Sirois; her daughter-in-law, Sue St. Pierre; and granddaughter, Karen St. Pierre. She is survived by her son, Jerome St. Pierre, of Pensacola, Florida; daughters-in-law, Lillian, Geneva and Rena St. Pierre; twelve grandchildren, Marla, Twila, Kathy, Darin, Darlene, Dana, Scott, Randy, Tammara, Mikia, Jacob and Joseph; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well.
Alice and her husband Joseph bought a home in Pensacola, Fla., and moved there in 1968. Numerous visits were made to Maine until the death of Joseph.
Because Alice has not lived in Maine for 50 years. there will not be a funeral in Maine. A Mass in her memory will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church, Limestone, at a future date. Interment will be at St. Louis Cemetery in the spring, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Joseph.
