ISLAND FALLS, Maine — The standings for men’s bowling at Birch Point Lanes as of Monday, Jan. 22 are as follows: 1, Strike Force, 56-24; 2, Pinners, 54-26; 3, Intimidators, 50-30; 4, Gutterballs, 50-30; 5, Wild Cats, 42-38; 6, Rough Riders, 38-42; and 7, Skinners Sandbaggers, 30-50.
High single for the week was Jerry Violette, 141, while high series went to Joe Bishop, 347. Team single for the week went to Strike Force, 520, while team series went to Skinner Sandbaggers at 1,482.
The top five averages for the year are: Joe Bishop, 106.44; Everett Boutilier, 103.29; Jerry Violette, 102.00; Keith Hersey, 102.00; and John Duffy, 100.07.
