East Grand Outdoor Education students Benji Gilman (standing) assists third-year student Lendin Stoddard while on a recent lost person scenario exercise. Students put their map and compass skills to work searching a section of woods, locating the lost person, evaluating the scene offering food, water, a warm coat and building a warming fire prior to assisting the lost person out of the woods.
