JEFFREY B. BOYCE, HOULTON – Jeffrey B. Boyce, 49, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at his residence. He was born on July 30, 1968, in Southington, CT, the son of Jerry and Danya (Tomah) Boyce.
Jeff graduated from Houlton High School, class of 1986. He then enlisted with the United States Marine Corps, and proudly served his country. Upon his honorable discharge he returned to Houlton where he worked for many years as a construction worker. Jeff enjoyed art, writing, music, as well as watching the news and staying up on current events. He loved visiting with family and friends most of all.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Danya (Tomah) Boyce of Houlton; two children, Shelby Boyce of Caribou, and Chaz Boyce of Glendale, AZ; two grandchildren, Luke and Liam Boyce of Glendale, AZ; four siblings, Joanne Boyce of Houlton, Jerry Patrick Boyce and his wife, Becky, of Houlton, James Boyce of Houlton, and Monica Hopkins and her husband, Stephen, of Caribou; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Jerry Boyce.
Friends may call from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Wednesday April 4, 2018, at Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton. A Funeral Liturgy for Christian Burial Outside of Mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Mary of the Visitation Church with Deacon Al Burleigh officiating. A reception will be held following the service at the Parish Center. Interment with military honors will take place at a later date in the Veterans Section of the Maliseet Tribal Cemetery, Houlton.
