PORTLAND, Maine – Gregory Nelson Dube, 57, passed away on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at Maine Medical Center, very suddenly. The son of Nelson and Anita (Perrault) Dube, he was born in Caribou on February 1, 1961. He attended Caribou schools and graduated from Caribou High School in 1979. After graduation Greg went to work in the restaurant business. He loved fishing, watching his favorite team, the Boston Red Sox, and his cat Kitty, who he used to bribe his mother into making him chocolate chip cookies. He was employed at the Sea Dog in Portland.
Greg is survived by his parents, Nelson and Anita Dube, his daughters Heather Dube Sullivan, and her husband Fred, and Melissa Dube Nunez and her husband Jose, his granddaughter Emma, who was his pride and joy, and his sisters, Sandra Dube Sargent, and Sheila Dube Williams and her husband Jeff.
Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 3-6 PM, at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 35 Church St. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM, a reception will follow at the Stephen W. Manchester, American Legion Hall, 17 Dunn St. Westbrook. Interment will take place at St. Hyacinth Cemetery,
Stroudwater St. Westbrook.
