Annual Lions auction

President Adam Nicak of the Mapleton Lions Club announced the club’s 56th annual Auction will be held on May 5 at the Mapleton Lions Hall.

Club members have begun soliciting the nearly 400 items, gift certificates and services that will be auctioned in support of the club.  The auction is the single largest fundraising event for the Mapleton Lions Club, with approximately 70 percent of the club’s annual income coming in on that one evening.

Donations are always welcome.  Any Lions Club member will be willing to accept your donation for the support of club projects.

Prior to the auction, the Lions will serve the annual public dinner.  Dinner will be served from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the Mapleton Lions Hall.  The auction will begin immediately after the dinner, with club auctioneers Matt Gregg and Ron Leonard.

Everyone is encouraged to come out and support the Mapleton Lions Club in their annual fundraising evening.
