HOULTON, Maine — The Houlton Football Association is hosting its third annual Shires Football Clinic summer camp for youths entering grades 3-12 this fall.

This year’s program runs from Wednesday, July 18, to Friday, July 20, from 6-8 p.m. at the Maliseet Sports Complex located off Pine Drive. The Houlton High School football staff and team members will instruct the clinic.

Fundamentals and basics, as well as techniques in the sport will be featured in a fun environment. This is a non-contact sports clinic. The fee is $30, which includes three sessions of instruction and T-shirt.

After the last night of the clinic instruction, a seven-on-seven game with Stearns will be held with all welcome to attend.

Parents or guardians must be present to register candidates and are welcome to observe the clinic. Participating students should wear shorts, T-shirts, cleats/sneakers and are asked to bring water.

All proceeds will be donated to the Houlton Football Association (HFA). Any questions can be addressed to houltonshiresfootball@gmail.com. To register online visit http://houltonshiresfootball.activesports.com/.
