FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine — A team consisting of two former Presque Isle Wildcats and one Caribou Vikings alum went undefeated and coasted to the title in the Maine Potato Blossom Festival’s annual three-on-three basketball tournament played at the community center Tuesday night.
Griffin Guerrette and Grant Stewart, both of Presque Isle, combined with Nick Allen of Caribou to take first place in the six-team, double-elimination tournament.
In the championship game, they defeated a team of five players rotating in and out of the game — Allen Jones, Isaac Cyr, Brad Kinney, Justin Poarch and Anthony Chacho.
