Caribou’s newest CNA grads receive their pins

CARIBOU, Maine — RSU 39’s Eastern Aroostook Adult and Community Education hosted a Certified Nursing Assistant pinning ceremony on Oct. 15 at the Caribou Technology Center to celebrate the successful completion of a rigorous 200-hour course that prepares graduates for a career in health care.

Danny MacDonald, director of Eastern Aroostook Adult and Community Education, welcomed everyone. He also thanked the students for their hard work, along with the families for all their support.

The students then presented two carnations to supportive family members and friends as a thank you.

Koralie Emerson, CNA course instructor, took a moment to talk about each student, highlighting their gained knowledge, compassion and confidence.

Smiles followed as the graduates and families enjoyed refreshment and photos to cherish this memory.

New CNAs include Calandra Brown, Kate Goulet, Shawna Larrabee, Brooklynne Moreau, Alexis Nichols, Gina Whitmore and Stacey Whitmore.
