PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — There is still time to register for the Aroostook Partnership’s Annual Breakfast Meeting Thursday, Nov. 29 at 7:30 a.m. at the Edmunds Conference Center at Northern Maine Community College in Presque Isle.
The event, which looks at the Partnership’s achievements of the past year, is also an opportunity to learn more about statewide efforts to improve the economy of Maine and secure the future workforce.
“I am excited to have Yellow Light Breen and Dana Connors, leaders of the Maine Development Foundation and Maine State Chamber of Commerce, engaged and pulling for The County as our annual meeting keynote speakers,” said AP President and CEO Paul Towle. “They will be presenting their joint project ‘Making Maine Work’ and updating us on the strategic initiative, FOR/Maine, which will certainly produce a positive impact on our critical forest products industry in The County.”
In addition to the Keynote address from Breen and Connors, Jason House, chairperson of the AP Board of Directors, will oversee the election of new officers for 2019, and Towle will review some of the accomplishments of the past 12 months.
Towle said the meeting is also an opportunity to thank the investors for their time, talent and treasure.
“It’s very clear that the Partnership, in collaboration with Aroostook leaders and other regional agencies, has made a significant difference over the 15 years we’ve been in operation,” he said. “And that would not be possible without all of us working together to solve our common challenges.”
The breakfast, which will begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. is free, but pre-registration is required. A registration link can be found at www.aroostookpartnership.org.
