Spay Maine co-founder Susan Hall recently announced that low-cost spay and neuter services are available to Aroostook County pet owners with low income. Older and feral cats are eligible as well. Hall said fixing cats before 5 months of age can prevent or reduce unwanted litters, female heat cycles, male spraying and some cancers.
